Repair Service
Repair on component level.
carries out the repair of defect units in their modern, well-designed workshops
in Niederkrüchten, near Mönchengladbach. The technically well-equipped
specialist workplaces allow the repair of analogue and digital units at component
level (Level I - III). Our well-organised, comprehensive spare parts storage
has repeatedly proven to be of particular benefit, ensuring a speedy repair,
without time-consuming spare part ordering. Also, all defect parts and irreparable
units are either disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner or recycled.

In order to offer a particularly efficient repair service, we have sub-divided
it into specialist areas.
Each specialist area is headed by competent employees.
The average repair time lies between 36 and 48 hours.
For particularly urgent units we also offer a 24-hour repair or exchange service.
Our services are currently concentrated in the following main areas:
| Consumer Electronics: | | IT Electronics: | - Digital and analogue satellite technology - Digital terrestrial set-top-boxes - Plasma TV- DVD - Video technology - Audio technology - DVD Players / Recorders | | - LCD Monitors - CRT Monitors - Beamers - DVD (DVD R/RW) - CD (CD R/RW, Combo) - USV - UPS - Scanners |
"Invaluable workshop equipment; our BGA solder, de-solder, and re-ball
equipment".
In recent years, particularly in the field of digital communications technology,
IT-technology, and digital satellite or terrestrial receiver technology, there
is a rising demand for ever increasing performance and ever smaller integrated
circuitry to replace complete and extremely complex analogue circuitry.

So-called BGA's (Ball-Grid-Array)
fulfil these requirements.
Due to their special design, BGA's cannot simply be replaced with a "normal"
solder unit or Hot-Air-Jet. In fact, besides the relatively simple positioning,
many very important procedures must be observed.
For example, painstakingly precise observance of ESD (Electric-Static-Discharge)
guidelines, the exact adherence
to temperature guidelines etc. provided by the chip manufacturer.
Many service complaints are caused by the use of cheap or incorrectly used
BGA units.
Here too,
handles in your interest, in the only correct way: The entire board is evenly
heated. This way, a deformation of the board is impossible. No long-term faults
arise, due to tension cracks caused by incorrect soldering techniques. All temperature
guidelines are discussed with the manufacturer, for each individual unit, board
or part.
